Lauren Lake is a multi-faceted television personality who serves as the judge on the Emmy nominated, nationally syndicated half-hour daily courtroom show, LAUREN LAKE'S PATERNITY COURT. The sharp-witted and opinionated Lake helps litigants resolve legal issues involving paternity using DNA results. While presiding over a range of emotional cases, Lauren's personality shines through as she provides the perfect blend of inspiration and tough love with her no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is advice and analysis of each case. She is also a highly sought-after motivational speaker and life coach and travels the country spreading her message of limitless living. 

Lake built a prominent law career as a member of the New York, New Jersey, and Michigan bars with a concentration in family, criminal, and entertainment law. She is also a go-to legal and lifestyle expert for the "Today Show," "Access Hollywood Live," "The Wendy Williams Show," "The View," and many others.

Lake co-founded the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN), which promotes the positive portrayal of women in entertainment and society through nationwide mentoring and outreach programs for young women. In addition, Lauren was an all-around creative spirit and was host and designer on HGTV's "Spice Up My Kitchen" for six seasons and "Showdown Champion" for two consecutive years. 

Not only is Lake a powerful voice in law and media, but Lauren is also a professional vocalist. She's sung background and toured with platinum-selling artists like Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Puff Daddy, and JT Taylor, formerly Kool and the Gang. 

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Lauren earned her B.A. at the University of Michigan and her J.D. at Wayne State University Law School.
